Day 1 NJP Rly Stn / IXB Airport – Kalimpong (About 75 kms / 3 hrs)

Meet & Greet on arrival at NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport & transfer to Kalimpong (3,950 ft.). On arrival Check-in to hotel & rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay will be at Kalimpong.

Day 2 Kalimpong Sightseeing – Darjeeling (57 kms / 3 hrs)

After breakfast enjoy half day tour of Kalimpong visit Mangal Dham, Deolo Hill, Dr. Graham’s Home, Golf Garden, Durpin Dara Hills & Pine View Nursery.  After that transfer to Darjeeling (6,950 ft.). On arrival Check-in to hotel & rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 3 Darjeeling Sightseeing

Early Morning (at 04:00 am) drive to Tiger hill (8,400 ft.) to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzongha (28,208 ft. Worlds 3rd highest peak), on your way back visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Ropeway and Japanese Temple. Evening free for shopping or leisure. Day 4 Darjeeling – Pelling (80 Kms / 4 hrs)

This morning after breakfast transfer to Pelling (6,300 ft.) via Singla check post. On arrival check-in to your hotel. Overnight stay at Pelling.

Day 5 Pelling Sightseeing

After breakfast start for full day sightseeing. 1st Half tour - Darap village, Rimbi water Falls,  Khecheopalri Lake & Khangchendzongha waterfalls. In afternoon start for 2nd Half tour - Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdantse Ruins, New Helipad Ground. Overnight stay at Pelling.

Day 6 Pelling – Gangtok (150 kms / 5 hrs) via Chardham

After breakfast transfer to Gangtok (5,500 ft.). Enroute visit Temi Tea Garden, Samdruptse & Siddheshwar Dham (Chardham) in Namchi. On arrival Check-in to hotel & rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 7 Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

After breakfast start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) & Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.) which is 55 kms one way from Gangtok city. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

(In case of Land slide or any other reason Tsomgo Lake is closed we will provided alternate sightseeing.)

Day 8 Gangtok – Lachung (103 kms / 6 hrs)

After breakfast check out from hotel with limited luggage and proceed to Lachung (8,700 ft.), North Sikkim. On the way take a break for some beautiful spots which are worth seeing and visiting like Naga Waterfall, The Confluence of Lachen Chu (River) & Lachung Chu (River) at Chungthang and Bhim Nala Waterfall. On arrival at Lachung check into your hotel. Dinner & Overnight stay at Lachung.

Day 9 Lachung – Yumthang Valley Excursion

After breakfast drive to Yumthang Valley (12,000 ft. Known as Valley of Flowers). On the way back, visit Hot Spring considered to have medicinal properties. Back to resort for lunch. Overnight stay at Lachung.

Day 10 Lachung – Gangtok (103 kms / 6 hrs)

After breakfast proceed to Gangtok (5,500 ft.). On the way if the weather is clear you may get to see Mighty Khangchendzonga from Singhik view point. On arrival at Gangtok check-in to your hotel. Rest of the evening free for your own activities. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 11 Gangtok – NJP Rly Station / IXB airport (120 kms / 5 hrs)

After breakfast Check-out from hotel and take the departure transfer to NJP Railway Station / IXB airport for your onward journey.

Day 1 NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport - Darjeeling (98 kms / 4 hrs)

Upon arrival at Bagdogra airport or Siliguri (NJP) train station, you will meet our representative who will help you board your vehicle to Darjeeling and provide you with information about your tour.

After leaving Siliguri we drive along the NH 31A through the dense forests of Mahananda Wild Life Sanctuary, the natural playing field of wild elephants, tigers and deer. Sevok comes next with it’s promises for the beautiful view of the River Tista, which comes from the deep gorge of the Himalayas and spreads into the vast plains of North Bengal.

Day 2 Darjeeling Sightseeing

Early in the morning (at 4 a.m.) we will drive to Tiger Hill to see the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchenjangha (28,208 ft. the world’s 3rd highest peak).

On the way back visit the Ghoom Monastery and the Batasia Loop. After breakfast visit to Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (closed on Thursdays) Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-help Center (closed on Sundays), Tea Garden (exterior view), Ava Art Gallery and Japanese temple (4 am from 9 am to 1 pm).

Day 3 Darjeeling - Gangtok (98 Kms / 4 hrs)

One day 3 after breakfast city tour through Darjeeling and continue in the afternoon to Gangtok (5500 ft. / 98 km / 4 hours), the capital of the state of Sikkim (Sikkim is the 23rd state of India) which is also known as the most peaceful and most beautiful state in India.
On arrival at Gangtok check in at your hotel.
Overnight at Gangtok.

Day 4 Excursion - Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

After breakfast you will drive for a memorable excursion to Tsomgo Lake (39,400 ft. / 39 km), one of the highest altitude lake in the Himalayas.
This beautiful oval lake of almost 1 km long with an average depth of 50 ft is located in the east of Sikkim Himalaya.
From here we drive another 15 km to Baba Mandir.
Depending on the accessibility of the route, you can continue to the Nathula pass (12,000 feet) towards the border with China.
Towards the end of the afternoon we will return to Gangtok.
The evening is free for roaming around M.G Marg, the popular shopping area in Gangtok.

Day 5 Gangtok to Lachen (120 kms./5 hrs./ Alt.- 8,500 ft.)

After an early breakfast we continue to Lachen. The route winds through small villages with valleys to the forest of Kabi Langchuk. Shinghik comes next with his promises of one of the most glorious views of Kunchanjungha. Located at an altitude of over 4000 ft, Singhik offers a desired vacation to travelers on the way to Lachen.
We will eat our lunch en route.
Visit Chungthang – the confluence of Lachen Chu and Lachung Chu (river) and Vimnala waterfalls fall on the way to Lachen. Reach Lachung in the late afternoon. Lachen also serves as a base for the popular Green Lake trek.

Day 6 Lachen – Gurudongmar Lake (40 kms each side) – Lachung (44 kms/2 hrs):

After breakfast at the hotel, drive through the snow-covered mountains and enjoy beautiful scenery when you arrive at Gurudongmar Lake – the most sacred lake in North Sikkim.
Please note that only Indian nationals may visit this place.
Remember that the lake is at the highest altitude (17,000 feet) and this can cause breathing problems, so be prepared and don’t exercise and take it easy.
Come back to the hotel, take time out of the hotel after a refreshment and leave for Lachung.
Overnight in Lachung.

Day 7 Lachung - Yumthang Valley Excursion

After breakfast at the hotel, continue to Yumthang Valley, known as the valley of flowers in northern Sikkim.
On the way back to the valley, don’t forget to visit the hot spring, which is considered to have healing properties.
Come back to the hotel and leave for Gangtok.
The package for overnight stay is in Gangtok.

Day 8 Gangtok Local Sightseeing - Pelling (120 kms / 5 hrs)

In the morning visit Rumtek Monastery / Jhakri Falls, Institute of Tibetology, Enchay Monastery, Dodurl Chorten.
After lunch drive to Pelling (7,000 ft. / 134 km / 6 hours).
The first phase of the journey rolls along the picturesque valley from the river Tista to Melli and then runs along the beautiful valley from Rangit to Legship.
Take a refreshing break at the viewpoint at Melli and view the beautiful bird’s eye view of the confluence of both rivers.
From Legship the road takes a steep turn through Geyzing. The view of the entire area widens as you continue towards Pelling through the clouds and forests. Rathong, Zopuno, Shimbho, Narsing, Sinolchu.
Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 9 Pelling Sightseeing

Pelling Local attractions (all day) – After breakfast at the hotel – Drive for the whole day. The routes are wooded and the botanical and zoological richness is inspiring. Places to visit are Rimbi waterfalls, Rimbi rock garden, Kechopalri lake, it is one of the sacred Buddhist lakes and it is believed that every wish for the lake comes true – Myth is that when a leaf falls on the calm clear water surface, it is plucked by a bird and thus the water surface is always free of leaves, Kechopalri monastery, Kanchenjunga waterfalls, Pemayangtse monastery, Rabdantse ruins, the picturesque view from the top of the ruin to the mystical heights of Kanchenjunga series something to be cherished.
Back to the hotel.
Free roaming in the helicopter platform or the shopping mall in the evening .
Overnight in Pelling.

Day 10 Pelling to Siliguri/Bagdogra (145 km. / approx 6 hrs) :

After completing a farewell party, drive back to Siliguri (NJP) / Bagdogra (IXB) via the same route for your onward journey.

Day 1 Bagdogra/NJP - Gorumara

Our representative will receive you at the airport/railway station and we will start our drive toward Gorumara.

Day 2 Gorumara - Jaldapara

Enjoy jeep safari to the Gorumara National Park in the morning.
After lunch you continue to Jaldapara Wildlife Sanctuary. Which was established in the year 1941 for the protection of Wild Life, in particular one-horned rhinos, an animal threatened to
become extinct.
You will later visit the Khairbari Leopard and Tiger rescue center.
This rescue center houses the animals rescued from circuses and rehabilitated before being released into the forest. A battery-powered vehicle takes you inside the closed enclosure of the leopard rescue center. It is an extremely satisfying sight to see the animals go to their natural habitat.

Day 3 Jaldapara - Rajabhatkahawa

Enjoy Elephant Safari in Jaldapara Wildlife Sanctuary after having a great breakfast.
Post lunch drive to Rajabhatkhawa 65 km 1 hour approximately. Rajabhatkhawa is a small town on the outskirts of the Buxa Tiger Reserve in the Jalpaiguri district in West Bengal, India.
Later on we will visit the Rajabhatkhawa Nature Interpretation Center. There’s a lookout tower deep in the forest which offers the best opportunity to view elephants, bison and tigers sometimes.

Day 4 Rajabhatkahawa - Santarabari - Jayanti

Drive from Rajabhatkhawa to Santrabari after breakfast at the hotel, then we will trek 4 km from Santrabari to the Buxa
Fort. Return to Santrabari for your lunch time. After lunch you will drive to Jayanti, which is a small forest village in the Buxa Tiger Reserve in the Jalpaiguri district.
In the afternoon we will take you to Lake Pukari which is home to a large population of crocodiles.

Day 5 Jayanti

In the morning after breakfast we will take you on an unforgottable boat safari in the dense forests of Sikiajhora. The boat takes you 14 km into the forest to view wildlife.
Take a walk at the local market in the evening.

Day 1 New Mal – Lataguri

Drive to Lataguri near Gorumara National Park. Night stay at Lataguri.

Day 2 Lataguri

Early morning safari at Gorumara National Park. Return back to hotel. After having breakfast  excursion to Samsing,  Sultanekhola. Evening back to hotel & leisure. Night stay at Lataguri.

Day 3 Lataguri

Drive to Jhalong & Bindu at Bhutan border. Evening safari at Chapramari. Back to hotel & rest of the evening for leisure. Night stay.

TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1 NJP/Bagdogra/Mal Junction to Lataguri

Upon arrival at the railway station/airport, you are received and driven to your hotel/resort at Lataguri. This place is close to the Garumara National Park. We prefer to put up our guests in hotels/resorts which give you a feeling of being either in the forest or in a tea garden.

Day 2 Excursion to Samsing, Sunthalekhola

After breakfast, we take you for an excursion to Samsing & Sunthalekhola. Samsing is a tea estate in the Dooars and a small locality of about 100 houses surrounding the tea gardens. On the top of the hill there is a beautiful Guesthouse. The silence of the place is disturbed only by the noise of the gurgling river Murti, which flows about half a kilometer below. 

The drive to Samsing is through lush green tea gardens and the descending mist on the tea gardens during the monsoons is a sight to behold. It is a great spot to watch birds.

Suntalekhola or Suntaley Khola (also Suntaleykhola) is a small village and a tourist spot in the Darjeeling District of West Bengal. The altitude of the place ranges from 650 to 950 m. It gets its name from a small stream: Suntaley Khola. In Nepali, Suntaley means orange and khola means stream. This place is nearly 5 km from Samsing.  The green patch on the left side of the way to Suntalekhola is amazing and holds many rarities of birds and butterflies.

Day 3 Excursion to Murti, Jhalong and Bindu

Today we would take you for an excursion to Murti, Jhalong and Bindu.

Murti is a small village by the side of the Murti River. It is an ideal picnic spot where one can enjoy the scenic beauty. Lucky ones can even catch a glimpse of elephants and other animals by the side of Murti River when they come to drink water.

Jhalong is situated on the bank of the river Jaldhaka on the Indo-Bhutan border. It lies at the foothills of the Himalayas, on the way to Bindu in Kalimpong sub-division. Jaldhaka Hydro Electricity Project on Jaldhaka River is a major attraction in this area. Bird lovers can enjoy a varied collection of hill birds as well as migratory water fowls here.

Bindu is the last village of West Bengal before one enters Bhutan. It is a beautiful valley on the bank of the river Jaladhaka. This river serves as a natural physical boundary separating West Bengal and Bhutan. Bindu is also famous for its cardamom plantations. Visit to this place is an experience worth remembering.

Return in the afternoon and visit the "Nature Interpretation Center", which gives information about the flora and fauna of the Dooars area. Overnight at Lataguri Hotel/resort

Day 4 Excursion to South Khayerbari & Jaldapara

This day you are taken to visit the South Khayerbari animal rescue centre. 

As on 11th Jan, 2011, there are eight tigers in South Khayerbari rescue centre of which seven had been seized from different circus troupes and one was brought from Alipore Zoo. The South Khayerbari Animal Rescue Centre is also the home of 18 leopards. A leopard safari (Optional), the only one of its kind in India, can also be availed in South Khayerbari Eco Park.

Thereafter you proceed towards Jaldapara Wildlife sanctuary.

Declared a wildlife sanctuary in 1991, for the protection of the Indian one-horned rhino, Jaldapara is situated in the foothills of the eastern Himalayas. The river Torsha flows through this rain forest sanctuary which is mostly covered with tall grasses.The sanctuary encompasses luxuriant vegetation and a rich variety of wildlife. The Malangi River also flows nearby from east to west. Riding elephants is the only way to move inside this forest and Visiting time is 9A.M. to 4 p.m.

The forest is mainly of Savanna Type covered with tall elephant grasses. The main attraction of the sanctuary is Asiatic one-horned rhinoceros. The sanctuary holds the highest rhino population in India after Kaziranga National Park in Assam. The other animals found are tigers, elephants, deers, sambhar, barking deer, spotted deer, hog deer, wild pig and bisons. 

Day 5 Depart for onward journey

Rest of the day is free for leisure. Drop to airport/railway station for onward journey. Tour ends with sweet memories.

ay 1 ARRIVAL & TRANSFER TO LATAGURI

Arrival at NJP Railway Station, our representative will be there to receive you and he will assist you to board your vehicle to Lataguri. Reach and check in to our own Aranya Jungle Resort, at evening get ready for Jungle Jeep Safari (on direct payment basis), overnight at Hotel.

Day 2 FULL DAY SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast, take a drive for full day sightseeing of Jhalong / Bindu, Dalgaon view point sightseeing. Enjoy the sound of river Jaldhaka. The Hydel project at Jaldhaka attracts a lot of tourist. Jhalong/Bindu is rich with natural beauty. Spend some times to take picture at Dalgaon View Point. Since Jaldhaka is border of Bhutan, viewing Bhutan Mountain is most attraction of this place. Back to resort and evening at leisure. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 3 FULL DAY SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast drive to visit the tea factory of dooars, where you will experience the processing of tea and other manufacturing aspects of tea which is really an excitement in the dooars. And also you can feel the forest atmosphere and the lash green tea garden surrounded the entire dooars with their beauty and elegance. A complimentary tea per pax will be provided by the admin of tea garden and you can also buy the different qualities of natural tea. Later take a drive for full day sightseeing of Samsing, a nice cool shady place at an altitude of 600 meter; Samsing is a newer addition in the North Bengal tourist map for its tranquil landscape and unpolluted surroundings. The horizon extended tea gardens, undulating hill slopes, meandering streams, rural life of simple village people attracting a large number of tourists from different parts of the country.

On the way you will be crossing tea garden, ask driver to stop for a while to take picture of lush green tea garden. After visiting Suntalekhola, Rocky Island, here you can enjoy the Murti River, and Laliguras View Point. Back to resort you will be reaching resort in the evening. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 4 TRANSFER FROM LATAGURI TO JALDAPARA

After breakfast, leave for Jaldapara. On the way visit Khayerbari Leopard Centre, overnight at Jaldapara.

Day 5 FULL DAY SIGHTSEEING OF JALDAPARA

Early morning start for elephant safari (on direct payment basis) around 06:30 am, back to resort for breakfast. Then start for Chilapata Forest Safari (on direct payment basis). Back to resort. Overnight stay at Jaldapara.

Day 6 DEPARTURE

After breakfast, check out and transfer to NJP/Hasimara Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport with sweet memories of Wilder Dooars.

Located in the Singalila Ridge of the Himalayas, it lies on the border between India and Nepal. Sandakphu is renowned for offering panoramic views of four of the five highest peaks in the world — Mount Everest, Kangchenjunga, Lhotse, and Makalu.

· A popular trekking destination, the Sandakphu trek is part of the Singalila National Park and is known for its rich biodiversity, including red pandas, Himalayan black bears, and a variety of rhododendrons and orchids. Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
